Got a job working for an Apple repair centre -- even got my Apple Certified Macintosh Technician certification, but my boss was a bit of a jerk, so that didn't last very long, unfortunately.
Start a television production course next week. TV and film is ultimately where I want to be, and April's doing some rather lucrative contract work at the moment so the funds are there, so might as well.
Going to be hard studying full time but if I want it badly enough, I'll do it.
... well, it turned out the fellow doing the level 3 network support decided to work part-time, which meant I inherited half of his job. It's interesting, but it's mostly phone and RT tickets -- a desk job.
I did kind of want to get back into hardware, but I'm not going to complain too much -- I got my first paycheque in three years the other day, and the dinner I bought with it tasted SO good.
Getting up to speed has been a bit of a headache, but I think I'm getting there -- just hopefully I get there _before_ I get canned =/ (It's not that bad... I think)
I have a new job *finally* as a systems engineer for a Melbourne firm. Start next Tuesday -- really excited/anxious... it will be great to go back to work though... been missing the dynamic.
